Moving slat conveyor systems were first introduced nearly 30 years ago by
Hallco Manufacturing Co. in Tillamook, Oregon. Invented by founder Ole
Hallstrom, the LIVE FLOORS® system was first used for the agricultural
industry, but quickly expanded beyond this niche beginning.
Emphasis on continual research and development, listening to customer feedback, Hallco's Floor School, an innovative customer installation and maintenance training program, all contributed to Hallco Manufacturing Co.'s growth. In 2008 the controlling interest was sold and a new venture, Hallco Industries, Inc. was formed with the Hallstrom family remaining closely involved. Today, Hallco manufactures a full line of solutions for trucks, trailers and stationary conveyor/bin systems. Drive units and deck profiles catering to light-weight, heavy-duty or leak-resistant uses make Live Floors the preferred choice for bulk materials handling. |
Close customer contact allows Hallco to custom design each Live Floor system for specific applications. This, combined with a strong dealer network and knowledgeable sales staff, has led to continued success.
