The standard deck style has been an industry standard for more than 30 years. Best suited for relatively dry, bulk loads up to 45 tons. Slat thickness varies based on application. For refuse applications with top loading, high speed unloading, recommended slats are 1/4” or 3/8.” For lighter duty applications, such as agriculture or wood products, recommended slats are 1/8” or 3/16.”
